About Rajarajeswari Nagar
Rajarajeswari nagar
A Remarkable growth Story
RR Nagar, established in 1987, is located off Mysore Road. The name "Raja Rajeswarinagar" was chosen by its founder, with the blessings of Thiruchi Swamiji, and was officially recorded in the Possession Certificate in 1989. The founder, an architect and developer, created this layout, which includes 6,000 plots of various sizes. Today, the population of RR Nagar is 79,000.

A Unique and Well-Developed Area
One of the standout features of RR Nagar is its impressive infrastructure. Even during heavy rains, the area experiences no waterlogging, a rare quality. The layout is home to numerous celebrities, government officials, doctors, businessmen, and professors. It's also a financial hub, with 42 banks within the area.
The development of RR Nagar has surpassed the founder Dr R Arunachalm's wildest dreams. In the late 80s and early 90s, the price of land was incredibly affordable. In 1988, the cost was just Rs. 13 per sqft, then Rs. 18 in 1990, and Rs. 25 in 1992. For comparison, Infosys shares in 1988 were priced between Rs. 70 and Rs. 80 per share, and today, RR Nagar's land value has soared to Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 per sqft.

A Hub of Education and Amenities
RR Nagar boasts five well-established engineering colleges and one medical college within just 3 kilometers. It’s also home to more than 75 schools, including international and CBSE schools, alongside 15 hospitals and nursing homes. For shopping, you’ll find over 10 malls, 25 gyms, and numerous clothing stores and hotels. The area is green, with plenty of parks and greenery.
RR Nagar is also famous for its temples, earning the title of the "Temple Hub." Some of the notable temples include Rajarajeswari Temple, Shanmukha Temple, and Lord Venkateshwara Temple.

Connectivity and Growth
The area is well-connected, with the nearby Global Village IT Park, a metro station, and easy access to major roads. The NICE road links to Hosur in 45 minutes, and there’s an Expressway connecting to Mysore in about 75-90 minutes.
A Vision Realized: Development Stages
RR Nagar is divided into several stages, starting with the third stage in Halagevaderahalli. The land, initially filled with hillocks, was difficult for residential development. However, the founder worked tirelessly, meeting with landowners to resolve legal hurdles, and eventually, the development took off.
The development process included creating a water supply system, electricity setup, road construction, a stormwater drain, and more. The area also features a shopping complex, a school, a bus depot, a man-made lake, and a beautiful club for the community.
In the years that followed, the founder continued to expand the layout. Land was acquired for the fourth, fifth, and 5th A stages, with more than 5,500 plots distributed. Over time, RR Nagar became the thriving, self-sustained township it is today.
